OSLO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Water reservoirs for hydropower
generation in Norway and Sweden rose last week, energy
authorities said on Wednesday.
Water levels are key to electricity prices in the Nordic
region which gets half its power from hydroelectric stations.
The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE)
provided the following data on Norway's reservoirs. The data for
Swedish reservoirs are from Svensk Energi. Both sets of data are
also posted by Nordic power exchange Nord Pool on its website.
RESERVOIR LEVELS (percent full)

Norway 88.6 86.6 82.7 87.6
Sweden 75.6 74.4 70.7 84.6
